limit negative thoughts

It’s so easy to sit on your couch at the end of the day and allow yourself to be swallowed up by all of the things that went wrong that day. Or are stressing you out. Or are unfair.

Don’t.

I have a theory about negative thoughts and words. If you are using them to problem solve or to vent, go for it. Problem solving involves thinking about an issue, thinking of ways to improve or solve the issue and then taking action. Simple as that. Venting involves a few words, a few shouts, a few minutes.

Both problem solving and venting are productive. They’re good for you. If your thoughts and words are not creating something positive for you, then stop. Why waste precious time, breath, and life? You could be laughing, doing something fun, writing instead!
